Questions and Answers About Living At Sonata Senior Living

Unlike communities that require a large buy-in for lifetime residency, Sonata Senior Living charges an affordable month-to-month rental fee with no long-term contracts and built-in flexibility. Renting an independent living or assisted living apartment at Sonata provides advantages to both your personal independence and finances, while helping you manage the cost of personal care as you age.

The monthly rent for apartments at Sonata Senior Living varies by floor plan and services, among other factors. On average, independent living and assisted living rent starts around $4,000 a month but may be higher or lower depending on the floor plan you select and if you need any level of care assistance. Many services and amenities are included in the monthly charge. Pricing varies by city, location, and apartment size, so it is important to call the Sonata community near you to get up-to-date pricing.

At Sonata, your monthly rent includes the cost of your apartment; any maintenance; utilities; some laundry services*; housekeeping services; scheduled transportation; activities; and chef-prepared meals. Assisted living is regulated in Florida to make certain long-term care providers meet state mandated standards in staff training, food service, cleanliness, and resident safety. This includes maintaining mechanical, structural, and electrical systems, including generators and fuel to power air conditioners. In keeping with our high standards of service and care, Sonata Senior Living has proudly received deficiency-free state surveys.

Florida requires assisted living providers train staff who provide direct care to residents, but Sonata Senior Living exceeds state standards to ensure our caregivers are prepared to meet the unique needs of older adults. The specialized training we provide benefit our staff–and the residents they care for–with advanced knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and other chronic health conditions.
