Carolyn Sithong, OTR/L, SCEM, an area occupational therapist specially certified in environmental modifications and guest at the grand opening, said she found Serenades warm and inviting throughout every environmental aspect. “Architecturally and culturally every area, every niche and every staff member resounded a person-centered theme,” she said. “Our loved ones who live through the difficulties of dementia will, without a doubt, experience home as it relates to comfort and wellbeing at Serenades.”

She adds, “To visit Serenades is to experience home. We know that those who suffer from dementia never lose their ability to feel comfort, love and security – at Serenades, they will. Providing an environment like Serenades allows our community to have a home for people with memory loss, where they can safely live with dignity and new opportunity.”
