Orlando, FL – September 1, 2018 – Sonata Senior Living, an Orlando-based owner, developer and operator of 10 senior living communities, is celebrating National Assisted Living Week September 9 – 15, 2018 by holding events all week long for residents, their loved ones, staff, volunteers, and the surrounding communities.
All Sonata communities have planned exciting events and activities to engage their Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care neighborhoods. Established by the National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL), National Assisted Living Week® (NALW) provides a unique opportunity to recognize the role of assisted living in caring for America’s seniors. 
The annual observance encourages assisted living communities around the country to offer a variety of events and activities to celebrate the individuals they serve, as well as to help educate members of the public about long term care. This year’s theme for NALW, ‘Capture the Moment’ inspires residents to celebrate the present and also look back on the pivotal moments in their lives.
Sonata Senior Living has organized activities and events during NALW that help residents celebrate their past while also enjoying the present.
