Sonata Senior Living, an Orlando-based owner and operator of senior living communities exclusively located in central Florida, announces the construction of a new and distinctive senior housing community in Winter Garden – Sonata West. This will add to their total number of senior living communities.

The new state-of-the-art, resort-style community will offer area seniors a maintenance-free, wellness-focused Independent Living option with an array of hospitality services and amenities, as well as Assisted Living. Serenades by Sonata, an award-winning, full-service Memory Care community, is located adjacent to the new community, adding another level of care to Sonata’s senior network.

Sonata West will be located at the intersection of Daniel’s and Roper Road in Winter Garden. It is conveniently located within one mile of the new Florida Hospital and the Fowlers Grove dining and shopping area. The community is scheduled for completion early 2017. It will house over 130 residents and will bring more than 100 new jobs to the local community once open.

The Sonata West community will encompass over 139,000 square feet of thoughtfully designed living space within a state-of-the-art, two-story building featuring 78 spacious Independent Living apartments and 35 Assisted Living apartments for residents in need of Personal Care services. The community will also offer select “club level” apartments featuring enhanced services, apartment upgrades and controlled access.

“We bring a unique perspective as both a developer and an operator of senior living communities,” said Shelley Esden, Senior VP of Operations for Sonata. “Because we live and operate exclusively in central Florida, we leveraged our local presence and experience to design a community that aims to amaze and delight while remaining steadfast to our guiding philosophy of placing customer service at the center of everything we do.”

Customer-focused amenities include a full-service restaurant with locally grown fare, pool, intimate bistro bar, library, auditorium, theatre, general store, art studio, fitness center, bocce ball court, picnic pavilion and dog park.

“What makes Sonata West so special is that it offers the latest from a wellness, care, design and amenity perspective while incorporating a warm, nurturing and fun environment – all backed with the collective knowledge of Sonata’s seasoned team with a lot of experience in senior living industry,” adds Esden.

VIP registration is currently available for Sonata West and offers interested parties priority access to community updates, special events and benefits, including first notification of availability of apartments and priority pricing packages.
