August 22, 2016 – Although the weather has been hot and humid with numerous days of typical Florida rain showers, construction of Sonata West has continued to proceed at a rigorous pace. All of the second floor precast planks have been set and a two-inch concrete topping applied to level the floors. Most of the concrete block walls to support the third floor Club Level have been laid and the steel structural stud bearing walls that will carry the wood roof trusses are almost in place. The two interior courtyards are starting to take shape with the digging of the pool and the feature fountain that will be the focus of evening meals and special outdoor dining events.
Here are the most recent aerial images of Sonata West’s construction progress. Around the pond with dedicated fishing spot, you can view the quarter-mile Fit Trail to help you stay in shape while enjoying the outdoors. Relax along the path with multiple rest areas and shade trees indigenous to Central Florida. Between the community and the pond, construction of a pavilion with a country kitchen, electricity and restrooms has begun to give residents and their guests plenty of room to socialize!
