Sonata Senior Living announces a new Independent Living community, Sonata West, to serve more than 130 older adults in a new, state-of-the-art active Senior Living and Assisted Living community.

Sonata Senior Living, an Orlando-based owner and operator of senior living communities exclusively located in central Florida, announces the construction of a new and distinctive senior housing community in Winter Garden – Sonata West. This will add to their total number of senior living communities.

The new state-of-the-art, resort-style community will offer area seniors a maintenance-free, wellness-focused Independent Living option with an array of hospitality services and amenities, as well as Assisted Living. Serenades by Sonata, an award-winning, full-service Memory Care community, is located adjacent to the new community, adding another level of care to Sonata’s senior network.

Sonata West will be located at the intersection of Daniel’s and Roper Road in Winter Garden. It is conveniently located within one mile of the new Florida Hospital and the Fowlers Grove dining and shopping area. The community is scheduled for completion early 2017. It will house over 130 residents and will bring more than 100 new jobs to the local community once open.

The Sonata West community will encompass over 139,000 square feet of thoughtfully designed living space within a state-of-the-art, two-story building featuring 78 spacious Independent Living apartments and 35 Assisted Living apartments for residents in need of Personal Care services. The community will also offer select “club level” apartments featuring enhanced services, apartment upgrades and controlled access.

Independent Living apartments range from 450 to 1,600 square feet, and include a washer and dryer in each unit, full-size appliances, walk-in closets, upgraded finishes, emergency call/resident check-in system and upgraded finishes. Select units include outdoor terraces or patios. There are ten exclusive independent living apartments, located on the “club level” that will offer larger floor plans, upgraded finishes, special access and unique services.

Assisted Living apartments offer generous floor plans, ranging from 400 to 1,050 square feet. and include a washer and dryer in every unit, a kitchenette with a standard apartment size refrigerator, five-foot walk-in showers, walk-in closets, emergency call/staff check-in system and upgraded finishes. Select units include outdoor terraces or patios.
